Happy to ride a 50 or a 125 on L plates? Or do you want to gain experience on two wheels before taking the motorcycle test then you will need a Compulsory Basic Training course. Options to getting a Full Motorcycle Licence....A1 17yrs+ training & testing taken on a 125cc, when the candidate passes Module 1 and 2 tests they can ride without 'L' plates, take passengers and go on motorways but will only be able to ride a maximum of a 125cc.A2 19yrs+ training & testing taken on a 500cc, when the candidate has passed Module 1 and 2 tests they can ride as above, but with a restriction of 47BHP. A 24yrs+ training and testing completed on a 600cc, and on passing both tests candidate can ride any size bike straight away.
